Classroom management and organization can either make or break many teacher (first year or experienced teachers). In regards to classroom management, I think that having an established routine and procedures for students follow from the time they walk in to the time they leave is the best solution for many discipline issues. I wanted to share this link that has a video about classroom management: Classroom Management.
A managed classroom allow you to be more focused and organized. Having bell ringers or warm-up assignments as students come in allow you to take care of housekeeping items like taking attendance, inputting grades, or checking emails without worrying about having to get the students started and settled down.
